How are dependencies scheduled?
Tasks use five close stages and a dependency graph. A task's due day cannot precede its prerequisites. On short plans, tasks share dates; follow the sequence column. The workbook marks tasks Blocked until prerequisites are Done or Not applicable and flags tasks marked Done out of sequence.
Can I change the workbook?
Yes. Owners, statuses, notes, holiday dates and monthly deadlines are editable. Holiday edits recalculate checklist and calendar dates in Excel. To change duration, workflows, task rows or dependencies, generate a fresh plan. Row-based formulas depend on the generated rows remaining intact.
What does the dashboard count?
Completion is Done divided by tasks excluding Not applicable. Overdue means a due date before today and a status other than Done or Not applicable. Awaiting review, blocked tasks and Done tasks with unfinished dependencies are counted separately. Overdue and deadline indicators update when Excel recalculates.
Does this manage approvals or connect to my ledger?
No. Review tasks are reminders you manage in the workbook. The generator has no account, shared task system, notifications or accounting integrations. Generated plans and owner names are not uploaded or stored by Beckmont.
